Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 113 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract.

Although Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant, CBD is virtually free of it. It’s because CBD is procured from hemp, a form of the Cannabis sativa plant that contains only small amounts of THC.

Moreover, as CBD is not psychoactive and is separate from the high-inducing THC, it has a special appeal in medicinal products. As a result it enjoys widespread use in medicinal products, particularly as a substance renowned for relieving chronic pain, anxiety, and other conditions. It’s also known for improving sleep, appetite, and regulating other vital functions. Since it offers a ton of medical benefits without the mind altering effects of THC or other drugs, it’s gaining popularity across the world.

Given its increasing applications today, many people who are waking up to the advantages of CBD are exploring what is CBD exactly and how it can help a variety of health conditions. Its prevalent use is perhaps amply demonstrated by the fact that a specific form of CBD has been approved as a drug for seizure in the United States. In addition, it has been found to be possibly effective in helping with pain, urination frequency, and muscle tightness in people with multiple sclerosis.

Pinnacle Hemp CBD Oil dosage recommendations: Sublingual (under the tongue) for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing.

150 MG – 20 drops or 1 dropperful twice daily (40 drops total)

300 MG – 10 drops or a half dropperful twice daily (20 drops total)

600 MG – 10 drops or a half dropperful twice daily (20 drops total)

1200 MG – 5 drops twice daily (10 drops total)

THESE ALL EQUAL TO 20 MG A DAY, WHICH IS OUR RECOMMENDED DOSAGE.

This is a general guide to dosing. Everybody is different. Your body is different, your condition is different and everyone needs to do some trial and error to figure out what works for them. Try vaping vs sublingual. Some people have better results with one over the other. Some people need small doses several times a day, where as others need 1 or 2 larger doses. Both ways could equal the same amount per day but have different results depending on your body and conditions you have.

As more and more people are beginning to explore the potential of CBD for multiple health conditions and improving vital functions of the body, quite understandably the first possible question on their minds is “Will CBD get me high”. Given that CBD is derived from the cannabis plant, it’s a valid question. But the answer is: No, CBD is not psychoactive, unlike THC – the cannabinoid responsible for the mind-altering high. So it will not get you high.

In addition, the CBD we offer will not get you high and is designed to not provide any psychoactive characteristics or effects, even while having small trace amounts of THC.

There is currently no recorded case of anyone overdosing from any full spectrum, broad spectrum, or isolate CBD products.

All products should always be cleared by your physician or doctor before using. Especially in children or if you are pregnant or nursing.

Our oil comes from 100% organic Industrial Hemp, meaning that it is non-GMO, PG-free, and PEG-free.

Our CBD is a full spectrum CBD, which means that you get the entourage of benefits. Full spectrum oils include CBD, CBDA, CBG, Terpenes, and a whole lot more!

The hemp plant actually contains 483 compounds – so it is best to use a product that is direct from mother nature. Having a full spectrum oil allows us to give our customers the best of the best without the ludicrous pricing of most competitors!

Maybe. Everyone’s body processes CBD differently. While the standard dosage shouldn’t flag a positive on a drug screening, there is no way to be certain that the trace amounts of THC end up in a false positive. If you are subject to regular screenings, try our broad spectrum line Kokoro.
